synonymous with Iron Pot Products.
Chris, Gerrit and Blaine have all moved on and we thank them for their contribution to Iron Pot.

We started value adding other garden produce: basil, rocket, coriander
and parsley. I had always made my own pesto and decided to use local
macadamia nuts and oil. We sent a few tubs of Macadamia Pesto off
to the local fruit and veg shop to test the market. It kept selling.
We took our product to more stores and indulged ourselves in the
kitchen coming up with other combinations.
2000
Started keeping bees alongside our faithful chooks, healthy vegetable
garden, orchard and native bush land.
Lea started her Diploma in Agribusiness with particular interest
in value adding primary product.
Surplus honey and eggs go on sale at the front gate.
A new fruit shop opened in Kyogle, they started stocking our honey
and eggs.
I started value adding the honey and soon was stocking them with
the Honey Nut Seed Slice (our first value added product). |
