We employ only organic farming practices with our apiary (bee hives),
herb gardens and poultry yard. They are all chemical and pesticide
free.
HONEY FROM THE HIVE
Unblended and never heat treated, our migratory hives chase the
honey flow. In the spring we go after the blossoms of macadamias
and avocados; summer brings on the Eucalypts; and in the winter
the coastal heath lands provide our bees with a good flow of nectar.
FREE RANGE EGGS
A dozen hens of various breeds and a busy rooster keep us in farm
fresh eggs. Deep yellow yolks come from free ranging yards and cracked
grain. Our girls would never touch laying pellets.
HERBS
Basil, rocket, coriander, parsley, rosemary and bay leaves.
Raised organically from non hybrid seed and planted out in succession
we pick fresh from our garden to ensure optimum freshness, flavours
and aroma.
MACADAMIAS
Locally sourced native Australian Macadamia oil and Macadamia nuts
contribute to the exceptional flavour and health benefits of our
Macadamia Pestos, Honey Nut Seed Slice, Chocolate and Orange Squares.
Macadamia oil boasts antioxidants and contains the highest level
of mono-unsaturates of any non-GMO culinary oil, both of which qualities
are linked to the prevention of cancer and other diseases. These
qualities compare favourably with Olive Oil. Additionally, Macadamia
oil appears to contain around 4 times the Vitamin E of olive oil.
